On CNN's "Late Edition," the former Arkansas governor made the bold statement that American consumers were financing both sides of the war on terror by purchasing petroleum from ally Saudi Arabia. This comes on the heels of what Huckabee implied was a weak response from the White House regarding a Saudi court's sentence for a woman who was gang raped. Huckabee goes on to promise that if made President, he'd make the U.S. energy independent in 10 years.
