The Republicans made a big play yesterday, by forcing a debate on Dennis Kucinich's motion (seen here) to impeach Dick Cheney, and make Democrats state their position before the election. Though if history is a guide, GOPers impeached Bill Clinton in '99 and still won the White House in 2000. If anything, the Democrats should take this and run with it like Kucinich, and not waffle (for once). The man might see UFOs, but it's hard to argue with he says Cheney "has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as vice-president and subversive of constitutional government...such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial and removal from office."
