Is the well running dry or are subtle forms of begging the best way to keep the pot overflowing? Campaign manager David Plouffe has taken to the web to push one message: Give us money! Plouffe warns the Obama campaign needs more contributions to fight the well-funded RNC. This might have a tad more credibility if we knew that Obama hadn't opted out of federal funding because his coffers were so full.
