Evidently the Atlanta Braves are having a hard time pulling fans from a predominantly inner-city fan base (baseball doesn't play well in the 'hood? who knew?), so they enlisted Def Jam rapper and ATL native Vawn to pimp their "dopeness." While Vawn will probably be the only rapper to have to search for a word that rhymes with "Chipper," it looks the promo spots have worked: attendance IS up a smidge at Turner Field in '08, despite a Braves team that is almost as hit (or not hit, as the case sometimes is) and miss as their '07 squad.
